At Source of Life Ministry International (SOLFMIT), we offer a wide range of services grounded in compassion, faith, and a commitment to community empowerment. Below is a summary of our core programs:
Employment Assistance
We assist individuals seeking employment by offering personalized support such as resume preparation, cover letter writing, mock interviews, and guidance in acquiring necessary training and certifications.
We are committed to equipping jobseekers with the skills and confidence they need to secure stable employment and succeed in their careers. In addition, we collaborate with small businesses and community organizations to connect jobseekers to certified training opportunities in security guard services, CPR, FDNY requirements, and public safety preparation.
Healthcare Assistance
We support individuals and families navigating healthcare challenges. Our services include—but are not limited to—assistance with obtaining health insurance, scheduling doctor or clinic appointments, and accessing medical resources.
We also run community health awareness programs to educate people on preventive care, wellness, and common health conditions, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
Drug Abuse Counseling
We work with qualified professionals, doctors, and therapists to provide counseling for individuals struggling with substance or drug abuse. This is a complex area of mental health, but through a combination of professional guidance, personal determination, and prayer, we help clients identify the root causes of addiction and move toward lasting recovery and sobriety.
Prayer Services
There are numerous ways we can thank our God. We thank Him by providing tangible service to others; we thank Him by seeking to do His will. We can also thank Him by gathering together and praising His name as He Himself said:“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18:20 (KJV).
We are not a church in the traditional sense, but we do conduct prayer services and Bible study on Friday nights, and upon request. We offer prayer services to individuals for any form of sickness, especially for those who are homebound or physically challenged.
Marital Counseling
“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” To married couples going through difficult times or facing the breakdown of their relationship, we offer assistance to strengthen and preserve the sacred bond of matrimony.
Our certified therapists provide thoughtful, faith-centered counseling to help couples identify and resolve conflicts, rebuild trust, and make wise decisions for their future. We are committed to helping marriages heal in accordance with Christ’s teachings.
Housing Assistance
We help individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of eviction find temporary or long-term shelter. Whether someone has already been evicted or is in danger of losing their home, our homeless assistance service offers critical support to ensure they are not deprived of this basic right and are guided toward self-sufficiency and stability.
Immigration Support
Source of Life Ministry offers refuge to those fleeing danger, conflict, or statelessness. Our mission is to support displaced individuals and families in finding resettlement in a safe and welcoming environment. We offer guidance, advocacy, and resources to help newcomers begin a new chapter of life with dignity.
Educational Assistance
We offer a broad range of educational support services. This includes tuition assistance for families unable to afford schooling, career navigation support for students, and test preparation help for those seeking to improve academic outcomes. Our goal is to ensure that lack of resources does not prevent anyone from achieving their educational goals.
Prayer Request
If you have a specific prayer request—whether for yourself or someone in need of healing, support, or spiritual strength—we are here for you. You may submit your prayer request online, or we can come to your location and pray together with you. No concern is too small to lift up in prayer.
